Abstract
In the article the basic task of modern education is considered as its correlation with the natural capabilities of man, their improvement and development during the entire life. It is substantiated that the sources of accomplishing this basic task are in the original positions of pedagogical anthropology that can be considered as a methodology of a new philosophy of education. The conclusion is made that the modern system of education must fulfill the moral and ethical functions, foster the formation of an integral picture of the world.
