Abstract
The article is about the phenomenon of social competence. The analysis of different approaches to the content of social competence has let the authors to draw a conclusion about its structure and elements. The authors have created a model of social competence, which reflects the interrelation of its components. The authors demonstrate the importance of forming social competence of the higher education students.
