Abstract
In the article there are considered in their interconnection the axiological and the ontological aspects of interaction between the social institutions of education and law. On the basis of characteristics of the indicated aspects, the author concludes that there exists an important contradiction between the social request and the content of the Russian law, related to the issues of axiology and ontology.
