The article concentrates on the following: to explain the relevance of expanding and improving the interdisciplinary relations; to eliminate duplication in the process of teaching humanities and legal sciences; to define the importance and relevance of understanding philosophically the most acute and actual problems in the course of Russian history and political science; to review forms, methods and recommendations for improving the quality of teaching, engaging students in the studying of the latest fundamental research of Russian and foreign scholars of the Russian and, particularly, Siberian history; to emphasize the necessity of objective self-assessment of the teacher performance and of raising the humanities status.
