																					 Abstract
The purpose of the study, presented in the article, is the theoretical and practical justification of expectations as certain constituents of personality's individual consciousness, in which the person embodies his/her perceptions of other people's attitude to him/her. The assumption that expectations reflect person's internal need for other people's attitude is also substantiated. The person's expectations express personal choice and constitute a certain complex which characterizes the consciousness of identity. The author analyzes some theoretical premises for the study of expectations as a mechanism of individual consciousness; and also empirically identifies and describes the personality features revealed in the expected estimations.
