Abstract
In the paper, the special features of contemporary career guidance are examined. The pedagogical ways and phases of vocational guidance of the youth are defined, their effectiveness is analyzed. The results of realization of the proposed pedagogical ways are forecasted. The activity of using the socio-cultural space of the city in the context of the «City as a School» project is characterized. The possibility of mentorship for realization of the youth career guidance process is described; the functions of the mentors are defined.
