Abstract
The article is devoted to some current problems of receiving education in the conditions of the informational society formation.
The author brings our attention to the phenomenon of adult education. The problems in the adult higher education are caused by social changes in modern world, by the processes of diversification of purposes and tasks of the entire system of education and by new social roles both of the teacher and the student.
