Abstract
A spectrum estimation algorithm based on representing the signals in the modified Sobolev space with the use of the fast Fourier transform is proposed. Expressions for determining the parameter of the modified Sobolev space, which ensures the minimum spectrum estimate error caused by the low sampling frequency and the quantization noise, are derived. The possibilities of increasing the spectrum computation speed by a factor of 2 compared with algorithms in the space L2 and also reducing the quantization noise by 5
