Assemblages of Terrestrial Arthropods under the Technogenic Impact of Norilsk Industrial Complex

Abstract
Ecological and entomological observations of some key areas in Norilsk industrial district which were subject to technogenic impact were conducted during 2008-2009 field seasons. The preliminary taxonomic and biodiversity studies of the entomological complex were made from an indicative point of view. The activity of main trophic groups was also estimated. Flexible reaction of phyllophagous groups on technogenic emission was observed. The necessity of monitoring of the impact zone’s marginal areas was noted.
