Abstract
The author analyzes the role of social volunteer practice in the process of training the Bachelors of Social Work. The author considers this type of practical training as an education technology technology. The social volunteer practice plays the role of a basis for the creation of new possibilities and realization of the personal potential of the youth, as well as a way of mastering the basics of the future profession through the theoretical and practical activities. The development of the volunteer movement in the higher education system is understood as one of the priority strategies, because to train the quality social workers there are needed fundamentally new, active forms of education.
