Abstract
The article examines the conditions for educational reform, among which, in author’s opinion, a special place is occupied by the legal support. The changes taking place in the world educational space require correction of the contemporary legal framework, within which the Russian educational space is operating. The result of this correction should be the creation of the legal mechanisms that bring Russian education in line with the changes taking place in it.
