Abstract
Discusses the history of formation and development of one of the subdivisions of the Central office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation - the investigation Department in the Siberian Federal district. A brief historical overview of the bodies, preceding the formation of the division. Studied the structure of the investigation Department, the dynamics of changes in the state and provides biographical information about the management team of the management and its structural divisions. Revealed a number of organizational issues in the activities of the investigation Department and envisages the prospects of its further development and modernization.
