Abstract
The article examines the political aspects of the characteristic of existing and newly established institutions in the field of education, presented in the report of V. V. Mironov. On the basis of the analysis results of the political aspects of institutionalization in the field of Russian education, the author concludes that the failing and protracted nature of the reforms, carried out in the field of education, is caused by the discrepancy between the state policy in this field and the interests of the majority of the countrys population.
