Abstract
The author carries out a historical analysis of the problems of integration of the education content in close connection with the analysis of the general trend of integration of scientific knowledge in the history of scientific cognition. The article shows that the main direction of integration of science, technology and production in didactically adapted form will serve as the main provisions of integration of general and vocational education. The investigation of the possibilities of integration and differentiation of the content of initial vocational education allowed implementing integrative-modular approach to designing a new academic subject.
