Abstract
The article discusses the scientific-educational centers at universities as relatively independent scientific-educational units, their role in realization of the principles of innovative education. It reveals the current understanding of educational innovation, argues the case for their introduction in the extended education in universities. The conditions of implementation and use of innovative technologies in practical educational activities are determined. The article gives an analysis of innovation in the educational component of the scientific-educational centers of higher education in Novosibirsk.
