Abstract
The article discusses the concept of education as a totality of social relations which are the subject of legal regulation, in terms of the content of legal norms. Based on the analysis of legal regulation, there is made a conclusion about the necessity of legal confirmation of a more complete definition of education, its objectives and the necessity of legislative introduction of a mechanism of control of education: both training and upbringing.
