Abstract
Teaching the religion studies course to the social work students have some particular qualities: specificities of professional intercommunication and cooperation with the representatives of various religions; experience of social ministry within various confessions; and the skills of criteria analysis of religious institutions and their representatives with the aim of identifying the destructive sects.
