Abstract
A number of researchers bind the achievements of modern Chinese society in various areas in recent decades to a specific combination of traditional and modern components in the system of social activities inherent in the society. This article discusses the socio-cultural features of the processes of production and reproduction of knowledge in the transforming Chinese society. The focus is on the relationship of education with the social and managerial characteristics of modernization and the network context of innovations in China.
