Abstract
In the article there is presented an analysis of the literary data on studying the structure of the innovative person. Taking into account the revealed theoretical aspects, there has been conducted empirical research concerning innovation. There are shown the factors causing the development of innovative personality in the higher education institution, which can be incorporated into the educational process. There are considered the results of a pilot study on the development of innovation.
