Abstract
The purpose of the present article is to study the role of education in social adaptation of the youth. Education is considered as a resource of social adaptation of the youth, and the knowledge, in turn, as a meta-means. The features of natural and organized education of the youth in the social adaptation context are outlined. The opposition of traditional and nonconventional education systems is analyzed. The author suggests using the normative-interpretative approach on the basis of the general scientific principle of complementarity.
