Abstract
In article there are considered some pressing issues of personal growth of the students getting higher psychological education. Developing the ideas of A. K. Markova and E. A. Klimov, the author comes to a conclusion that certain components of personal sphere (in particular, value and meaning orientations and creativity), on one hand, influence the professional formation of the psychologist, and, on the other, are subject to change in vocational training and formation process. The data of empirical research confirming the theoretical positions developed in article are cited. The analysis of the results is carried out using the methods of mathematical statistics.
