Abstract
With the introduction of the system of quality management in the universities based on the principles of universal quality management, it became necessary to use the technologies that are closely monitoring the process of forming the future specialists. One of such technologies is pedagogical monitoring of the specialist training quality. Various approaches to control and evaluation of the higher education results during various historic periods are considered in the article.
