Abstract
The purpose of the work is to analyze the opportunities and directions of nurturing the culture of interethnic relations in polyethnic communities of Russia. The common and particular in the "culture of interethnic relations" and "tolerance" concepts are investigated. The data of sociological surveys on the culture of interethnic relations in polyethnic communities in Far East region of Russia are cited. Some proposals concerning realization of the educational opportunities of nurturing the culture of polyethnic youth communities are put forward.
