Abstract
The paper attempts to investigate the general features and structure of the comparative method in constitutional legal science. The author considers the historical and theoretical context of the formation of comparative legal researches in Russian legal thought. The author concludes that the comparative method in modern constitutionalism becomes the most effective methodological tool of researching of the state and legal reality.
