Abstract
The paper attempts to provide the genetic analysis of the process of the forming of legal system. It considers the problematic situation in Russian legal science concerning the problems of the conceptual grounds and theoretical methodological aspects of the forming of legal system. The author suggests a new methodological approach, which makes it possible to analyze the internal logic of self-determination of the legal system and its system features.
