Abstract
The aim of the paper is to give a systematic description of the modern naturalism and an outline of its criticism. The paper contains a brief review of main directions in modern naturalism, a classification of kinds of naturalism, an exposition of the foundations of anti-naturalistic position, and a brief description of the general criticism of naturalism. The main conclusion is that the problems of naturalism arise from an insufficient substantiation of its position.
