The Corporeal and the Spiritual in the Works of Dionysius the Areopagite.

Abstract
The article focuses on the status of the body in the philosophical system of Dionysius the Areopagite. This problem cannot be solved if one does not use the neoplatonic answers to this question. The author believes that the position of Dionysius is very similar to the conclusions of Plotinus and Proclus. However, Areopagite underlines the theses which change the typical neoplatonic view making it closer to the position of the Fathers of the Church.
